R.A. Fernandez is an emerging writer based in Sydney, Australia.

Thank you for visiting! I wrote memoirs of the weird and wonderful things that occurred during my cancer treatment named Cancer and the Meaning of Life which can be read for free on Substack.​

A little bit about me: I started writing at the age of eleven, mostly short stories and poetry back then. I've written many songs and love the guitar both acoustic and electric having been in a band over my university years. Nowadays I've focused on Fantasy novels and short stories as well as TV and Film writing. I'll be releasing short stories and other bits on this website, so check back soon.

 

The best way to describe my writing is perhaps to cite my favourite authors who have influenced me in many ways: J.R.R Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, George R.R. Martin, George Orwell, Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, Andrzej Sapkowski, Isabel Allende, Margaret Attwood, Philip K. Dick and a raft of the classics (Homer, Marcus Aurelius) just to name a few.
